To meet this need, the Mighty Mindsets team has created activities, journals, and mini curriculum to share strategies for this personal growth.

The team has put countless hours of research and practice into finding strategies that will build essential character traits. Products are developed with research from evidence based practices. These products support individuals as they learn, practice, and develop skills to face challenges and struggles.

Founder & Creative Director

Bethany C Goding, 2022 Teacher of the Year, Knox County, Maine

Education:

Bethany holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction as well as degrees in Education and Marketing.

She is currently working on her EdD in Professional & Educational Practice with a specialization in Social Emotional Learning.

Professional:

16 Years as a public school teacher – Grades K-12

Interventions, Gifted Education, Social & Emotional Educator, Career Counselor, Classroom Teacher

7 Years as an employment counselor – Supporting individuals in finding & maintaining employment

Business networking, Vice President for Maine APSE, Employment First Coalition

Bethany is an educator, parent, and passionate advocate for the need for emotional intelligence in shaping future generations.

With a background in education and curriculum development, as well as nearly a decade of experience as an career counselor, she has worked extensively on success readiness skills in both academic and professional settings.

As a single parent of two grown children, she has witnessed firsthand how emotional intelligence impacts both childhood development and long-term success.

Through her research and work, Bethany has developed journals, workbooks, and curricula to help families build emotional awareness and communication skills together. She is also creating a series of speeches, videos, and resources aimed at making emotional intelligence accessible and practical for parents, educators, and individuals. Her mission is to empower both children and adults with the emotional tools they need to navigate life with confidence, resilience, and meaningful connections.
